Terms of Service
This English version is a reference translation provided for convenience. The Japanese version is the official version and prevails.
These Terms of Use (hereinafter “these Terms”) set out the conditions for using LUMINAS Compass (宿命鑑定アプリ; hereinafter “the Service”). These Terms apply when you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy on the application screen.
In the ChatGPT and Claude app directories, the Service is listed under the name “LUMINAS Destiny Reading 宿命鑑定”.
1. The Service
The Service provides destiny readings based on Sanmeigaku. It calculates a chart from date of birth and gender, and provides readings through conversations in AI apps such as ChatGPT and Claude and on the Service’s website. The form used with ChatGPT’s GPTs (the GPTs version) is provided until December 11, 2026.
The terms and policies of each company apply separately to your use of ChatGPT and Claude. For reasons on each company’s side, the Service may become unavailable in ChatGPT or Claude.
2. Who can use the Service
People who hold a user code issued by the operator and are within their contract period. People 13 or older may apply. Anyone under 18 should obtain a parent’s or guardian’s consent before applying. Use through Claude is limited to people 18 or older (or, where a higher age is set in your location, that age or older) under Anthropic’s Consumer Terms (a parent or guardian may ask for a consultation with their child as the person being read). Please use your user code only yourself. Do not give or lend it to others.
3. Application and contract
- You apply by agreeing to these Terms and the Privacy Policy on the application screen.
- Contract periods, fees and payment methods are as shown on the Pricing and plans page and the application screen. The destiny reading app (宿命鑑定アプリ) has the same contract and fees for both the GPTs version and the MCP version: the trial is free for 10 days, and start and renewal are 3,000 yen for 30 days (an annual plan, 30,000 yen for 365 days, is in preparation). The chart calculator (web app) (in preparation) is 3,000 yen for 30 days on the monthly plan and 30,000 yen for 365 days on the annual plan (provisional). All prices include tax, are paid by bank transfer, and do not renew automatically.
- Payment is in advance, within 7 days from the date of the email with the bank transfer details. If 7 days pass without a bank transfer, the application is cancelled (at no cost).
- If, after making the bank transfer but before completing the “I have transferred” (振り込みました) step, you stop for your own reasons, we will refund the amount minus the bank transfer charge (please let us know through the inquiry form or at info@luminas-compass.com. The operator will ask you by email for the bank account for the refund). After completing the “I have transferred” (振り込みました) step (after use has started), fees already paid cannot be refunded if you stop for your own reasons. The same applies to the annual plan: if you stop partway for your own reasons, we do not give a pro-rated refund for the remaining period. This does not apply where the operator could not provide the service for reasons on the operator’s side, or where laws and regulations provide otherwise. For duplicate or mistaken bank transfers, please contact us.
- When the contract period ends, readings and consultations can no longer be used. You can continue using the Service by completing the renewal procedure.
4. About readings
- A reading is an interpretation based on Sanmeigaku theory and is one reference point. It does not guarantee future events or outcomes.
- It is not a substitute for medical, legal or financial decisions. For illness and health matters, please consult a medical institution.
- For physical or mental health problems, or worries that concern your life, please consult a medical institution or a dedicated support service.
- Text the AI writes in the conversation may contain errors. The chart and stars are calculated by a dedicated engine, but the interpretation text is composed by the AI each time.
- When reading a family member or acquaintance, please obtain that person’s consent.
- A reading is one perspective for understanding yourself and the people close to you. Please do not use it for decisions that select or evaluate people (such as hiring, personnel evaluation, admissions screening, or lending and borrowing money).
5. Prohibited actions
- Sharing your user code with others
- Calling the Service in bulk by automated means, or using it repeatedly for the purpose of collecting the Sanmeigaku materials
- Reproducing, distributing or selling the content of the Service (including the Sanmeigaku materials and the reading rules) without permission
- Interfering with the operation of the Service, or interfering with other people’s use
- Using reading results for decisions that select or evaluate people (such as hiring, personnel evaluation, admissions screening, or lending and borrowing money)
- Anything that violates laws and regulations or public order and morals
6. Restriction and suspension of use
There is an upper limit on the number of times the Service can be used per day. If there is use that violates these Terms, the operator may stop that use, even during the contract period. When stopping use, except in urgent cases, we will notify you in advance at your registered email address.
7. Rights
The rights to the Sanmeigaku materials, reading rules, screens and other things provided in the Service belong to the operator. You may freely use reading results and interpretation text for your own purposes.
8. Changes and discontinuation
The operator may change the content of the Service to make it a better service.
If we stop providing the Service, we will announce it on this page and at your registered email address more than one month in advance. If we stop partway through your contract period, we will refund the fee for the remaining days. The Service may stop temporarily due to system maintenance, failures, disasters and the like.
We will change these Terms only where the change suits the general interests of users, or where the change does not go against the purpose of the contract and is reasonable in light of the need for the change, the appropriateness of its content and other circumstances. When we change them, we will announce on this page what will change and the date it changes, before that date (important changes will also be notified to your registered email address).
9. Liability
For damage caused by the operator’s willful misconduct or gross negligence, the operator bears liability in accordance with laws and regulations, and the following upper limit does not apply.
For damage caused by other negligence of the operator, the operator is liable only for ordinary and direct damage, up to one month’s worth of the fee paid for the service in which the damage occurred (for start, renewal and the monthly plan, the most recent single payment; for the annual plan, one twelfth of the annual fee). During a free period with no payment yet, such as the trial, the upper limit is 2,500 yen (30,000 yen ÷ 12), which is one twelfth of the annual plan.
Where all or part of this clause does not apply under the Consumer Contract Act or other laws and regulations, those laws and regulations are followed.
10. Governing law and courts
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it through discussion. If it goes to court, it will be heard by the court that has jurisdiction under the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure.
